Summer breeze melts away
To reveal the autumn freeze
Faces anticipate
Down the glass corridor
Sliding away
Towards the light
Breaking the bulbs
Their butterfly brains
Flutter away
Into a sea of leaves
Colourful and stained
Worries buried underneath
Their glacial gaze.
Love this poem! Playing around with images that are a feast for the eye!
